The Toronto SpecFic Colloquium, a one-day event to launch the Chiaroscuro Reading Series, will deliver six lectures throughout on topics such as conscience and consciousness, crossing genres and media, queering the genre, and transgressive identities and multiculturalism, each featuring a major name in the field. The lectures will be followed by readings that showcase emergent and experienced Canadian speculative fiction writers.
